New Yorkers dont care about art, they care about pets. So Im exhibiting them instead. I wanted to make art that questioned our relationship with animals and the ethics and sustainability of factory farming, but it ended up as chicken nuggets singing. I took all the money I made exploiting an animal in my last show and used it to fund a new show about the exploitation of animals. If its art and you can see it from the street, I guess it could still be considered street art.

FYC just got back from a great trip across the pond to London. Here are some photo highlights:

Had some free time today so went to the SFMOMA. While the exhibitions didn’t excite us much we were impressed by two things:
1. How are those white frames made for the Lee Friedlander works. And where can you get them. There were no seams! Anal-retentive framers like us need to know.
2. Browsing in the museum store we were very happy to street/urban art related books displayed prominently in the ‘Art Movement’ section. It was validating to see this in an institution of this caliber
